“Leaders’ Night”, the third edition of its kind, has been held by Maldives National University Students’ Union (MNUSU). This event was held in Banquet Hall of Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Studies (FHTS) of Maldives National University (MNU) on 18^th July 2018 at 2030hrs.

During the event

President of MNUSU Arushad Ashraf, Vice President (Academic) Adam Rushdhee, Vice President (Wings) Ali Shamoon, Treasurer Abdulla Shahuneez, Secretary Anaa Ahmed and Media Coordinator Mohamed Shaan Amir participated as executive committee members of MNUSU. Some members of MNUSU Leaders group also participated in this event which was focused on the new group of leaders who joined from different batches of the new July intake of MNU. Introduction of MNUSU and its leaders group, different activities carried out by MNUSU and how some of these activities are executed were explained to the participants by President and Vice President (Wings) of MNUSU. After the introduction, an “Ice breaking” activity was carried out by the President of MNUSU Arushad Ashraf. Different gifts were given out on this night, thanks to MNU Marketing department, Dhiraagu and Euro Marketing Maldives, for which MNUSU are ever grateful.

After the event, some of the participants expressed their feelings on the event. Some of them remarked that it was a pleasant surprise and that they would love to work at events organized by MNUSU.

This is the 3^rd such edition of “Leaders Night” held this year (2018). The first was held after the January intake of MNU, while the second edition was held after the April intake of Nursing students for MNU.

During the event

MNUSU Leaders group is a group made by MNUSU executive committee, for students to actively take part in the organizing and executing of activities run by MNUSU. For students of MNU to enter into the group, they just need to visit MNUSU Office and register as a member of the group.
