The first sports activity organized by MNUSU in 2018, “MAXCOM MNUSU Inter-Faculty Tournament 2018”, has had its draw ceremony held on Wednesday night (21^st February 2018). Managers of the teams and some players in addition to the organizing committee of the tournament participated in the ceremony held at “B-12” classroom of Faculty of Education, Maldives National University. The ceremony was broadcast live through Facebook page of MNUSU.

During the ceremony

6 teams participated in each of the divisions, Men and Women, in the tournament which will be played in the same format for both the divisions. The 6 teams will be divided into two groups of three and matches will be played to group stage format. The winners of both groups will play the first semi-final match where the winner of that match will secure a place in the final directly. The runners-up from both the groups will go head-to-head in the second semi-final match where the winner of that match and the loser of the first semi-final will play a third semi-final match to decide the second team to reach the final match.

Group B: Faculty of Education (FE), School of Nursing (SN), Centre for Foundation Studies (CFS)

Group B: Faculty of Law and Islamic Studies (FLIS), Faculty of Education (FE), Business School (BS)

The tournament is scheduled to start on 22^nd February 2018, Thursday at 08:30pm. All the matches of the tournament will be played in PE Hall of Faculty of Education.
