Two matches from the women’s division of the Maxcom MNUSU interfaculty volley tournament organized by MNUSU, has been played this Friday (23^rd February 2018) morning. In the first match which started at 7:30am, faculty of education (FE) played against school of nursing (SN). The match ended with Faculty of education (FE) achieving victory after turning into the most sensational match played in the tournament till now. Faculty of education had taken the first set with a score of 25 – 18. However, the second set was taken by the school of nursing with a score of 25 – 19 which escalated the match to a third set which was then won by faculty of education (FE) with a score of 15-12.

During the match

Faculty of Law and Islamic Studies (FLIS) and Faculty of Health Sciences (FHS) played in the second match of the morning. FHS won the match 2 sets to nil on scores of 25 – 20 and 25 – 09. With this result, FHS and MNUBS is qualified to the semi-finals of the tournament while FLIS is now out of the tournament.

During the match

More matches shall be played from 1415hrs of the Friday till late night. All matches of the tournament are played in the FE PE Hall. Title Sponsor of the tournament is “Maxcom Technologies”. Co-sponsors are “Dhiraagu” and “Fuel Express Maldives”. Media partner is “Sun Media Group”.
