Members of MNUSU joined a function and a panel discussion held by the Ministry of Home Affairs to celebrate the day Maldives embraced Islam. 

The official function to mark the day Maldives embraced Islam was held at Imaduddin School on 30^th November 2019. The function started at 20:15 and many leaders of MNUSU with its executive members joined.

The honourable guests, Hon’ Vice President Faisal Naseem and the Minister of Home Affairs, Sheikh Imraan Abdullah have talked in this ceremony. They have talked about how Maldives converted to Islam, the history of Maldives and how the lifestyle of people were during that time.

MNUSU leaders also took part in the panel discussion that was held at Islamic Centre on the night of 31^st November 2019 as well.

The panel discussion addressed about the criticism to Islam religion that arise in the society. The involvement of students in this event portrays the love for Islamic religion within the students and for them to clear their doubts on Islamic religion.

The members of MNUSU has been taking part in the panel discussions that are held by the ministries.
