Executive committee of Engineering, Science and Technology Association (ESTA) (Wing of MNUSU at Faculty of Engineering, Science and Technology (FEST)) meets with the executive committee of the Maldives National University Students’ Union (MNUSU) in the 6^th meeting of the series: “Meeting of Wings”.

During the meeting

4 members of ESTA (Vice President – Academic, Treasurer, Secretary and Media Coordinator) and all members of the executive committee of MNUSU excluding Treasurer participated in this meeting. The briefing of the meeting was given by the President of MNUSU Mr. Arushad Ashraf. Detailed discussions regarding the activities conducted up to this point of the year by ESTA were done by the Vice President (Wings) of MNUSU, Mr. Ali Shamoon.

“The Earth hour event, co-hosted by ESTA and FESA is a great achievement. It is to be noted that this is the first event of the year managed by two or more wings of MNUSU.”

Stated Shamoon. Discussed also were the planned activities by ESTA for the upcoming days of this term, in this meeting which was held at 03:00 in the afternoon of 08^th April, Sunday. In addition to the talks of MNUSU executive committee members, members of the executive committee of ESTA correspondingly shared their thoughts in this sitting. Most notably, Vice President (Academic) of ESTA shared the belief of ESTA on the activities they plan; that all the activities must equate on academic, sports and technical level.

During the meeting

The meeting which went on for around 45 minutes was held in the office of MNUSU. This series of meetings are held after this decision was taken among the executive committee of MNUSU. While the sixth meeting has been held with THARAHA, the meetings of Sia, FESA, Healers, SHATS and THARAHA have been held in the past.
