AVID College beat Villa College with a huge score of 8-1 in group C of Men’s division of MWSC MNUSU Futsal Fiesta 2019. The player of the match was AVID College’s jersey no. 12, Hussain Saweel.

From the women’s division of group D, FE played against FA. The chief guest of this match was the dean of the Faculty of Education, Ms. Mariyam Fizaana Rasheedh. FE won the match with a score of 2-0 while the queen of the match was Khathima Yoosuf(J9) from FE.

From group A of women’s division, CYRYX college played against FLIS. The chief guest of this match was the founder of Halfcourt MV, Mr. Ahmed Adhuham. The match ended as a draw with each team scoring 1 goal. The queen of the match was Shaufa Ibrahim (J13) from FLIS.

From group B of men’s division Polytechnic played against CLIQUE College. CLIQUE college won the match with a score of 2-0. The man of the match was Hassan Saeedh(J5) CLIQUE college. The chief guest of this match was the former secretary of MNUSU, Naajih Ibrahim.

MNUSU Futsal Fiesta is the biggest sport event of Maldivian higher education sector. This tournament is organized by Maldives National University Students’ Union (MNUSU). This is the 7^th edition of MNUSU Futsal Fiesta. The first ever edition was held in 2013 and from then on, the tournament was held, without a break, each year. Last year’s edition introduced women’s trophy of the tournament, where Clique College claimed the first ever women’s trophy of the tournament. MAPS College took the men’s deviant after defeating Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Studies who ended up as the runner- up for the second running year.

Male’ Water and Sewerage Company (MWSC) is the main and title sponsor of MWSC MNUSU Futsal Fiesta 2019. Printing partner of the tournament is M7. The tournament is further supported by Youth Sports and Community Empowerment, Dhiraagu and Visit Laamu while PSM Sports is the official media partner of the tournament.
