Due to the formation and naming of the Engineering, Science and Technology Association of the Faculty of Engineering, Science and Technology, the wing has announced the launch of a logo design competition to establish the wing’s new logo.

The competition was announced on the 22^nd of march 2018 through the second official announcement of the wing this year and the deadline of the competition has been announced as the 3^rd of april 2018. The submissions for the competition has to be in both PNG format and as a RAW file of the design. Also the submissions has to be submitted to the official mail of ESTA which is esta.mnu.studentunion@gmail.com.

The competition is open for all current students of FEST and the winning design would be selected by taking a vote among the ESTA executive committee members and the design will be patented as the official logo of ESTA. Furthermore, the winner will also be awarded a cash prize of MVR 500/- which was sponsored by the Maldives National University Students Union.
