A good run is the perfect way to start something significant and important. The biggest celebration of The Faculty of Education, Teachers’ Day, was kick-started by a morning run with students and teachers alike.

The theme of this year is “Young Teachers: Future of the Profession”, to showcase the importance placed in the students of the Faculty of Education who would eventually graduate to be teachers responsible of building and guiding the next generation.

The morning run was a huge success, as the students were joined by the Dean of the Faculty of Education Mariyam Fizana Rasheed and some lecturers. Furthermore, GM of Athletics Association also participated in the event.

It was a lovely initiative by the Faculty of Education Students Association to start the celebrations of Teachers’ Day, and also to strengthen the bond between the students and the teachers.
