MNU Freshers Night, aimed for the new students of each intake, for this February intake students has been held on last Thursday night, 06^th February 2020.

The event held at MNU Central Administration campus, was co-managed by the leaders group of MNUSU. Variety of ice breaking games, a performance from MNUSU Boduberu team, along with party pizza were all on the house.

The welcoming briefing for the event was given by the treasurer of MNUSU, Hussain Zaidh. Followed by him, Ms. Nadhiya Ahmed, Dean of students, welcomed the students on behalf of MNU management.

Followed by Ms. Nadhiya, the former President of MNUSU, Mohamed Shaan Amir, remarked on the importance and benefits of joining MNUSU Leaders, a group which was founded during the tenureship of former president Arushad back on 2018.

We called it a leaders group, because we wanted to make more leaders instead of followers. I urge everyone to give it a go and join this group. You all need to develop your co-curricular skills before you end your university life.

Since MNU started holding this classical “fresher’s night” in 2018, MNUSU have remained as a collaborator and event manager for this night held twice each year. This event is held as an ice breaker for the freshman year students.
