The Maldives National University Student Union (MNUSU) starts the Inter Faculty debate competition.

The Maldives National University Student Union’s inter faculty debate competition was inaugurated by the Vice Minister of Housing and Urban Development last Monday.

As the past years, this year’s tournament would be judged by four judges. MNUSU has been conducting this competition for the past six years. Unlike the other years, this year two teams from each faculty can take part in this competition.

Tonight’s first debate was held between CFS (B) team and FA (A) team. FA (A) team won this match with a score of 640 points. The best debater of this match was Hafsee Abdulla from Faculty of Arts (FA).

The second match of the night was held between FHTS and FE(A) team. FE (A) team won this match with a score of 699 points. Shazaarath Shareef achieved the best debater title by 252 points.
