The Maldives National University Students’ Union hosted its 4^th “New Leaders’ Night” event successfully. This is the first event of 2019 while 3 more such events were held in the previous year 2018.

More than 70 new students who enrolled in the January intake of 2019 participated in this event which was held on Friday the 8^th March 2019 at the Faculty of Education’s PE hall. In the event all of the MNUSU executive committee members (President Arushad Ashraf, Vice President – Academic Hassan Rushdhee, Vice President – Activity Hassan Shah, Vice President – Wings Ali Shamoon, Treasurer Abdullah Shahuneez, Secretary Anaa Ahmed, Assistant Secretary Aminath Raudha Mohamed, Media Coordinator Mohamed Shan Amir) and other leaders group members and wing members were present.

The host for this event was the President of MNUSU Arushad Ashraf. During the event activities such as quizzes and impromptu speeches were carried out.

The main purpose of “New Leaders’ Night” is to have an interactive night with the newly joined members from the new intake of Jan 2019 who are willing to actively take part in the MNUSU team.

MNUSU Leaders’ Group is aimed for students who wish to demonstrate leadership and interest in the yearly activities and was established in the year 2018. The opportunity to join MNUSU Leaders group is always open for all students who are willing to join, and can sign up at the MNUSU office.
